This package contains the terminology artifacts for the Health Device Data Transfer (HDDT) specification in FHIR format. It provides the required ValueSets, CodeSystems, and ConceptMaps to support the standardized and interoperable exchange of device-generated health data between medical aids, implants, and Digital Health Applications (DiGA) in accordance with § 374a SGB V. The package is based on internationally established terminologies such as LOINC and ISO/IEEE 11073-10101. Their semantic characteristics are mapped to FHIR terminology resources and made available for machine-readable processing within HDDT-based implementations. A core component of this package are the Mandatory Interoperable Values (MIVs) defined by HDDT. MIVs represent semantically well-defined classes of measurements required to support specific DiGA use cases and therapeutic objectives. Each MIV is characterized by descriptive semantics and a curated set of terminology codes to ensure interoperability and clinical appropriateness of the exchanged measurement data. In addition, MIVs serve as the semantic foundation for SMART-on-FHIR v2 authorization scopes, enabling fine-grained, measurement-specific access control within HDDT-based backend APIs. This FHIR package provides the semantic interoperability layer for HDDT profiles and backend services and is intended for use in FHIR R4-based implementations, enabling the integration of personal health device data into DiGA-supported care processes.
