{ "description": "The International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) is a number, usually unique, to identify 3GPP and iDEN mobile phones, as well as some satellite phones. The IMEI consists of 15 decimal digits: 14 digits plus a check digit while the IMEISV consists of 16 decimal digits: 14 digits plus two software version digits. These numbers includes information on the origin, model, and serial number of the device. The structure of the IMEI/SV is specified in 3GPP TS 23.003. The model and origin comprise the initial 8-digit portion of the IMEI/SV, known as the Type Allocation Code (TAC). The remainder of the IMEI is manufacturer-defined, with a Luhn check digit at the end.", "_filename": "NamingSystem-imei-identifier.json", "package_name": "hl7.terminology.r5", "date": "2021-06-14T00:00:00-00:00", "publisher": "IHE Patient Care Devices (PCD)", "name": "IMEI_Identifier", "type": null, "experimental": null, "resourceType": "NamingSystem", "title": "IMEI as a device identifier", "package_version": "6.0.1", "responsible": "IHE Patient Care Devices", "status": "active", "id": "02f05a26-0fd9-4861-936b-e0538749af4f", "kind": "identifier", "url": "http://terminology.hl7.org/NamingSystem/imei-identifier", "uniqueId": [ { "type": "uri", "value": "http://hl7.org/fhir/sid/imei", "comment": "International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number", "preferred": true } ], "version": "1.0.0", "contact": [ { "name": "Devices on FHIR working group; IHE Patient Care Devices" } ] }
